The President of the Old Nottinghamians' Society, Philip Turton (1973-83) and the Society Committee warmly invite all Old Nottinghamians to the President's Dinner 2019 on Friday 14th June.
The venue is The Walled Garden at Beeston Fields Golf Club. The property was once home to the family of Albert Ball VC ON.
There will be a drinks reception in the garden from 6.30pm, followed by a three-course dinner served in the marquee.
Our friends at Beeston Fields host 45 weddings per year. The food and service should therefore be of high quality.
Partners and guests are very welcome to attend. There will be no speeches and no ONs business to mystify family and friends.
Instead, The Non-Commitments, who play Soul, Motown and Disco music, will entertain everyone. The band were recently winners in a Battle of the Bandstand competition at The Maze. Consequently, they will have the honour of performing at the Nottingham Green Man Festival in September.
Without doubt, The Walled Garden is the most attractive venue the Society has ever chosen as the location for its Annual Dinner. The golf course, the garden and the marquee will all look splendid on a summer's evening.
The date for the event will enable those ONs who wish to do so to attend the commemoration of Founder's Day the following morning. Please contact the School if you wish to have details of the events planned for the Saturday. The Old Nottinghamians' Society encourages your participation.
The President and Committee of the Society look forward to receiving your bookings for the President's Dinner 2019. Please apply by Wednesday 5th June at the latest. You can book via the Shop here (or, for undergraduates and under-25s here) or by contacting the Secretary.
It is set fair to be the party of the year!
