Roger Wilson, President of Nottinghamians RFC, unveiled their first-ever Honours Board on Saturday 28th March. Chris Ford (1970-79), Deputy President of the Old Nottinghamians' Society and former 'Hamians player, represented the ONs at this occasion.
The Honours Board includes the names of the top officials who have served the Rugby Club since it became an open club in 1971. Thus, a number of familiar School names are now on permanent display in the clubhouse at the ONs' Society Sports & Social Club ground.
Karim Naaman, Club Captain and Honorary Life Member of the ONs' Society, writes:
'Adbolton welcomed a profusion of players past and present along with friends and family to a superb President's Day.
They came from far and wide to celebrate the day and welcome the Honours Board. The new addition recognises many who have made significant contributions to the Club for the last 55 years.
The rugby matched the occasion. A thrilling game ended 'Hamians 46 Rolls Royce 31.
Thanks to those who came along. We look forward to seeing you again soon.'
