ONs’ Gig 2025 for NUH Arts Programme

Buonissima Aperitivo Bar was full on Saturday 11th January for the ONs' Gig 2025. Our 10th show for Nottingham Hospitals Charity was for their Arts Programme. It brings music, poetry and visual arts to patients, staff and visitors in the QMC, City Hospital, Children's Hospital and Ropewalk House.

Vivien Hughes impressed the audience at Buonissima with an assured set of original songs, plus a cover of Amy Winehouse's You're No Good.

Playing her third ONs' Charity Gig, Bele treated us to her philosophical, touching and humorous songs about relationships with her past self, father, suitors... and cat! Bele also took the photos you see here (except this one, taken by Christina Simpson).

The Moss Farm, aka Matt Humphries, drove through ice and snow from Liverpool to play his sixth ONs' Charity Gig. Those attending their first discovered what others already knew: Matt is an exceptionally talented singer and songwriter.

Fraser Lowrie performed a terrific headline set of covers, together with one of his own songs, Summer Love. Demonstrating the art of the loop station, Fraser supplemented voice and guitar with bass lines, beats and backing vocals. Another highlight was Barry Manilow's Copacabana!
