After a pause the fixture between the Old Nottinghamians' Golfing Society and the School resumed on Monday 23rd June. The venue was Beeston Fields Golf Club. ONGS secretary and treasurer Geoff Bryan is vice captain there in 2025.
The format was better ball, and the team of 12 students were better by 3.5 to 2.5. It was great to hear that 20 golfers had played in the School competition this year. The ONs look forward to them playing for us in the future!
Well done to Geoff for arranging the match again. Thank you to the students and the School staff on duty for the game.
The next opponents for ONGS will be Old Uppinghamians on Wednesday 6th August at Nottinghamshire Golf Club, Hollinwell. A fixture against Old Loughburians will follow.
