emzae won hearts and ears with her sparkling performance on 17th December. She treated the audience to tracks from her dazzling debut album as well as a range of covers. The livestream has attracted over 100 views.

Buonissima Aperitivo Bar was full for the ONs' New Year Gig on Saturday 13th January. Headliner Mollie Ralph is a former registered nurse. Consequently, she spoke from personal experience about the important work of the Arts Programme in Nottingham's hospitals.

Cara Flynn was playing her second ONs' Charity Gig, having made her live debut at the event for Hayward House in 2022. She impressed this new audience with her cover of Joni Mitchell's Both Sides Now, as well as with her own material. The following week it came as no surprise when Cara won Nottingham's Unmastered Song Competition.

Bele was also performing a second time for Nottingham Hospitals Charity. Her personal lyrics cover a range of topics from cancer and loss to her cat and... unwanted photographs. Bele will be starring in the Beeston Musical Theatre production of Hello Dolly at the Duchess Theatre in May.

Mollie Ralph closed the show with a second set of classic songs and originals. Crowd favourites included Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here, The Cranberries' Zombie and Gnarls Barkley's Crazy. You can see Mollie playing regularly in local venues.

The Society is grateful to all the artists; to Buonissima Aperitivo Bar; to the audiences both virtual and live; and to everyone who contributed to the Nottingham Hospitals Charity cause.
