The Old Nottinghamians’ Manchester Curry Night

THE CURRY CLUB TRAVELS TO MANCHESTER!
The Old Nottinghamians’ Manchester Curry Night will take place on Saturday 3rd February 2018 at Mowgli Street Food from 7:30 pm - 11:00 pm and before that at The Old Wellington.
Liverpudlian ON David Ellcock (1978-85) has issued an invitation to the Old Nottinghamians Society Curry Club and to Old Nottinghamians generally to travel to Manchester to join him for a curry. David has selected Mowgli Street Food as his venue of choice and suggests we meet in the The Old Wellington, 4 Cathedral Gates, Manchester M3 1SW in advance.
All Old Nottinghamians, but particularly those in the North West are accordingly invited to join David, the President, Philip Turton, Society Committee members and other Old Nottinghamians for an informal evening of fun and fine Indian dining with beer and curry thrown in at one of Manchester’s up and coming Indian restaurants located right in the heart of the City's Corn Exchange.
The party will start from 6pm at The Old Wellington and move on at 7.30pm, when the table is booked for dinner at Mowgli Street Food in the heart of The Corn Exchange. Some of the party hope to return to Nottingham on the 2203 train out of Victoria. Local diners will be free to continue for as long as they please, in the company of their fellow ONs.
Payment on the night but please confirm attendance via the FaceBook event or by e-mail to the Secretary: secretary@old-nottinghamians-society.org

The restaurant has established itself as a leading purveyor of authentic Indian street food since it opened in 2014.
"Mowgli is all about how Indians eat at home and on their streets. She was born to feed the raw need Indians have for 'tiffins' full of fresh bright intense flavour. Mowgli is not about the intimate, hushed dining experience. It is about the smash and grab zing of healthy, light, virtuosic herbs and spices."
